[At RGS]Me - "...This is -so- fun."Glen - "Yes."Wei Ling - "Ok, it's raining and everything so it's hard to hear others, so we'd appreciate it if you guys would quieten down. It's time to listen to your chairs."Me - [Tilts head onto chair]Muslihuddin - [Snickers]First: I will not be blogging about SQ21 after all. Not only will it turn out to be an extremely long post that I am not
that keen on typing, but I need time to organize my thoughts and stuff. If you know what SQ21 is, you'd....understand.
Oh, and I decided to kill the color tags on my MSN ID. Since about 99% of the people on my contact list don't have Windows Live Messenger Plus, there's kinda no point since it appears as gibberblahshitcrap.
So, what
shall I be blogging about.
Well, Emosius/Elmosius/EmerZ has coined a fantastically new "
trendy" word -
tootsie.Tootsie is an extremely versatile word, and may be used in many contexts.
Example 1: Where the
tootsie are you?
Example 2: I had to go
tootsie today.
Example 3: I'm going to
tootsie the
tootsie-ing
tootsie out of your
tootsie.
Bold and
Italic tags are fun. Though ugly and somewhat inappropriate.
What to blog about?
Oh yar, Peer Leader Convention meeting at RGS today.
Slept at about...12-ish yesterday. Now, normally, by which I mean roughly 4 years ago, I used to be able to sleep at 4 and wake up at 6, no problem with energy. Now, I sleep from 12 and am still reluctant to get up at 9...
Anyways, auntie Melda woke me up this morning with a ever-so-gentle smack to my leg. I was dreaming right then, my eyes shot open and I was still dreaming for about...3 seconds before I jerked back to reality. Creepy.
My lovely long white pants, being size 31, were too loose. But since I didn't have a school belt, and the other black belts were fugly, I decided not to wear a belt. It wasn't like dropping off my hips or anything.
Walking to the MRT station in the pouring rain was somewhat fun. Quite cooling. Although, as I mentioned in my previous blog post, the constant yet unpredictable rain is annoying. Where's all the water coming from? China?
Digression is bad. Yep.
Met up with Jonathan, Nicolas, Rodney, Jun Cong, Jin Meng and Oswin at Orchard MRT. Yun Jun and Qamarul came, then Glen, Alphonsus and Musli. Weng Keong was sick =(
The RGS complex blew my mind when I saw it. It's like VS...but
WAY bigger and better color-coordinated. Not to mention that their drama theatre is the rough equivalent of our auditorium. Except, I think they -have- an auditorium too. Strange how I misspelt auditorium as audition just now. Bleh.
Wei Ling's enthusiasm was...um...
unusual. Crapped around with Alphonsus, Glen and Musli. Mock-fought with Glen until we were asked to go into the (stuffy) classroom.
The meeting itself wasn't too bad. We were half an hour behind schedule, so ice-breakers were axed. Had a short self-introduction, followed by the usual powerpoint presentation, then split into our groups.
I would have been quite nervous, being the only guy in a group with about...5~6 girls. But KKMC has immunized me.
Settled quite a lot of stuff today. The RGS girls ( in my group at least ) are incredibly
on and efficient. Oh well, part and parcel of the PSL experience will be learning from others to better improve myself. I shall mature!
But seriously, I can see myself learning a lot from these RGS girls. And it's only been the first day, a few hours at that.
Looks like we've got our work cut out for us. Gotta design the Programme Booklet together with Annie and come up with ideas for Souvenirs together with Michelle. Not to mention ( too late ) that we're
so dependent on the Administrative commitee for the name list, group details and such.
Ahhhh, looks to be a work-filled and fun-filled year ahead.
6 Days to Christmas. Although in 10 minutes, it'll be 5.
Merry Christmas in advance!
