Guy waiting for Lift - "Is this Lift going down?"
Me - [Blinks] "Well...We -are- on the top floor..."

Well, it's 12.24 PM here in Perth, and in Singapore too come to think of it, since there's no time difference.

Although I remember there being a time difference of 1 hour or something. Oh well, whatever

Ok, it's 12.25 PM here in Perth, and I'm damn bored. And there's no Internet Connection. Yet. Well, at least not on my laptop. And silly me forgot to get Cassandra's account password, so I can't use the desktop, which has an Internet Connnection.

Note: i am using it now, but still copying my original post from my laptop.

If anyone wonders, I'm typing this out on OpenOffice Writer, the (lazy) person's guide to Microsoft Word. But I still find OpenOffice better.

And hell no, I am not blogging about LTC. I didn't want to, but kinda forced myself because I kinda felt it was the -right- thing to do.

I will, however, blog about PLC. Why? Because PLC>LTC!

First thing of the day saw us getting split up into our MegaGroups and just plain Groups. My MegaGroup, which is MegaGroup 2 consisted of:

Group 2A:
Me
Weng Keong
Ze Wei
Zhong Yi

Gruop 2B
Joshua
Jonathan
Musine
Alphonsus

First was...

A trip to East Coast Park where we drew/painted/mutilated our Megagruop logo/identity. Our group name ended up being Anthrax, after a fierce competition between Anthrax, WTF and Weng Keong's Shabalabadingdong

Then we had our Amazing Race entitled "Ring around the Garden." Should be pretty easy to figure out why.

Oh no, wait, before the Race, we had this game thingy. Basically, everyone in the MegAGroup lines up in a row facing one direction. Then a senior tells the front guy a phrase or something. Then the guy must use actions ala Chaerades to tell the next person. That person must then pass the message on until the last guy gets the "message" and hopefully translates it correctly.

Which, "funnily" enough never happened. in my group, "You Never Stand Alone" ( Peer Support Board's Motto) became "Shirtless" which then became "I'm Not Hot." Probably because the action involved pointing to yourself, then tugging at your shirt and waving to signify "No."

So anyway, had the Amazing Race. Ren An and Nicolas Yee following our group. Lost my Vivo City and Carls' Junior virginity. Carls' Junior rocks. The burgers rock, the honey mustard rocks. Only the Onion Rings weren't -that- fantastic, and they were still pretty damn good. Screwed up Nicolas Yee's order though, got him a Mushroom Burger something isntead of his Pastrami Burger. Stupid me.

Were the last group to reach back in school ( to the sarcastic applause of the other groups). Bathed, had a senior sharing session. That means the senior shared with us their experiences. And not that we shared the seniors as in "Oh I'll take half of Qamarul and you take the other half."

Then we probably did soemthing, but memory eludes me, so I shall take it as we stopped there.

OH NO WAIT I REMEMBER LALALALALA! CO camp was on the same day, so they were watching the movie "The Ring" in the hall. Hung out with the CO "mates" (Remember, I am in Perth ) for a while. Pummelled Max, then went to torture Yang En by means of tickling for screaming a twisted version of my name in front of all the CO juniors, senior and PSL people. Wanted to watch at first, then I remembered how stupid the storyline was, what with Sadako crawling out the TV wailing like a disembowled banshee and everything. So I ended up doing a devotion prayer with Weng Keong instead. Took about 1 hour ++ to do the devotion, but it was time very well-spent.

[Note, originally stopped here with the promise to update on Monday. One day late, but meh...Still, I regard it as a new post, and it will therefore have a quote]

Cassandra - "But...Rain is..."
Me -"OH OH!" [Smirks] "Good evening, welcome to the 25 hour news. Today, Korean popstar Rain was on a mountain climbing expedition when disaster struck. According to reports, a flock of birds first attacked Rain, before a plane crashed into the very mountain Rain was on. Rescue parties have found no sign of Rain.
One witness summed it up : "The Rain in Spain was hit mainly by the plane."

Ok, second day...

[Goes to Jonathan Tan's blog to help jog memory.]

Oh yeah.

Nanyang Girls came over for a sharing session. It was disappointing though, could see they were quite unprepared. Weng Keong and I ended up doodling on our PLC file ( You should see it, it's a mess. I"ll scan a page of it when I get home, maybe ). At first, Ren An, Nicolas and Marcus tried to stop us. Then they finally relented. I suppose they were bored themselves. The Nanyang Girls let us watch Goal. You know, the movie starring David Beckham.

Crappy movie. And bad special effects. Not to mention the plot was quite weak. I believe Goal's main attraction is just the soccer playing, and the many good-looking people inside.

Had a counsellor's session next. No, not just me, all of us. No, we're not mad. Not all of us. Especially not me. Nuh-uh, I'm 101.3024929384y2xxxHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEEHEE% sane. The counsellor, Ms Tasmine gave us a brief introduction to Peer Counselling.

Went for Bukit Timah walk later. Weng Keong, Nicolas and I were intially very sian about the whole walk up Bukit Timah thing. I mean, it -is- Bukit Timah.

First task was to walk up to the summit of Bukit Timah. We chose Medium difficulty, so we were given...14 minutes. And that damn Joshua was like "Linus is going to give up halfway."

I was leading with Jonathan ( Wong ), then fell back to help Alphonsus and Ze Wei ( helping Alphonsus carry his bag ) then still overtook Joshua to reach the summit. Take that, mr I-Think-I'm-Damn-Good-But-Actually-Immabitch.

Rest of the tasks were quite easy. Had to avoid some obstacle thingies ( aka our BAGS ) at the summit...Had to carry Musine on this canvas thing over a rope course and a bridge, and the SpiderWeb thing made RETARDED. Beautiful scenery at the SpiderWeb one though.

Reached back school thoroughly exhausted. Bathed, had some sharing thing, then promptly fell asleep.

Wednesday

RGS girls came down for a sharing session. MUCH better, much more prepared. And towards the end, when my attention was drifting, they played Nicolas' PSConvention Dancing video. *Snicker*

Had "Who Killed Roger Rabbit", which is basically a much longer version of Cluedo. Not to mention the evil seniors kept RUNNING away. Out of 12 seniors, I had to chase about 8 of them. And that darn Neng Wei was on a BICYCLE. Had to chase another senior, forgot who, but I think it was Yun Jun or Zhao Peng for a DAMN long time.

Were suppose to have some "wet" activities ( mind out of gutter, NOW! ) but due to rain, the wet activities were cancelled. Which is a bit...never mind. Ended up playing the "Aminal Game" ( Yes, I did spell it as Aminal on purpose ), then some "Boop" game invented by Jarren, then the Number Game. Got a cramp during the Boop thing, which led to me being booted out.

Number Game was hilarious. Guessed the number correctly about...4 times. Can't remember the 1st forfeit, but I remember having to catwalk then do 5 kawaii-nehh poses, doing a talkshow as Nicole Richie with Weng Keong as Paris Hilton ( But that was Weng Keong's forfeit ) and dancing them singing Madanna's "Hung Up." Scary shit.

BBQ after that. What ticked me off were the students who were playing soccer. We were cooking the food and everything, then they just came and took it all without asking for permission or anything. Wanted to scold them ( which I did, but only scolded Jeremy ) but since it was suppose to be a happy occasion and other crap, I decided to let it slide

And I must thank Nicolas Yee ( if he ever reads this blog ) for helping me and Weng Keong roast our marshmallows to slightly-burnt perfection.

Watched The Heirloom after that as our Nightwalk movie. The plot was seriously damn good, but it wasn't scary or anything. I have no idea why Matthias and some other senior took of their shirts and used them as a "shield" to shield their eyes from the movie. Couldn't you, just, you know, CLOSE THEM.

Nightwalk after that. Had a senior ( who walked around shirtless for the entire time which is totally -not- cool ) tell us all the creepy crap about VS, both in Siglap and the previous site. Most of the stories sounded so fake, only one ( about the foetus thing, but that could have been because the movie we had just watched was one about Demon Babies yadda yadda yadda ). Most ridiculous was the one about the Sec 3 boy who did the Nightwalk last in the Sec 3 camp, came back all terrified and crap, and Mr Maran called a bomoh. The moment I heard that, I rolled my eyes and tried to go to sleep straightaway.

And there was this "Don't look into the banana trees at night. If you smell anything funny, just try to ignore it."

I was like "Senior...I have a blocked nose, and what does a banana tree look like?"

Had a short delay, apparently "something" removed all the lightsticks from the spiral staircase ( part of the nightwalk route ).

Nightwalk itself was really ...I dunno. I had to have Jonathan go ahead to tell all the seniors not to scare me...I kinda just freaked out..Felt like shit after the entire thing. If I ever have another nightwalk, screw the whole "semi-shock" thing.

Sandpit station was quite...cute. First, Qamarul waved to me...Then in the pit inside, I knocked over a plastic hand. Only I didn't know it was a plastic hand cuz it was all dark and stuff. So I grabbed it and said "sorry" cuz I thought it was a senior's hand or something. Then it was so cold, so I realized it wasn't. Then for some reason, I said "Sorry." And a senior suddenly said "What the hell are you doing?"

Field station was creepy. Not too much detail, but I felt...very...creeped out. And I could have sworn I heard laughter. Very spooky shit.

Last station, the PSB room was -the- best. Stood in the doorway for a while, asking the unseen people in the room "Did Jonathan come by here." Must have looked like an idiot, but got a response from senior Ching Boon ( at least I think it's him.) "Yeah."

Went inside, accidentally kicked Syamil who was under the table, grabbed the item I was suppose to get and saw Mr Cheo's lovely message on the mahjong paper. Went out, then realized I had forgotten to sign the paper ( in fact, I only signed that station and the station before, forgot about the rest ). Went back in, and knocked over the dustbin. Ching Boon and Syamil were like "Orh hor...." I literally said "diao"

Up in the hall 5 minutes later, talked with the rest who had finished, then went to sleep.

Woke up at 5+ the next morning to go see the sun rise at East Coast Park. Then after that, cleaned up. Broke camp and went back home.

See, I said I'd get the post done, and I did.

And if I ever have the mood to blog about my most traumatizing experience, I'll go finish my LTC post. Don't count on it.
