Me - "He died. For the 3rd time. And I'm really hoping third time's the charm."
Just a short post dedicated to a very special person in my life. Not in a good way:
I've had more than enough of you. You know how I feel about you, and you know that I HATE you and your guts. And you had better stop screwing up my life. Because if you do, I will hunt you down, and I will hurt you. I've done it before, and you were around to see it in Primary School although it didn't happen to you. And I will do it again. This is not an empty threat my dear "friend". Yours will be the first ass I will kick if you ever do anything like that again. That I will promise you.
And that goes out to everyone who's thinking of messing my life up.

Me - "Retreat doesn't sound so nice." Jo-Ann - "Fall Back sounds nicer. Oh my god, it's like the bad guys, when they say fall back, it sounds so cool! Of course, we all know Fall Back is just another way of saying 'We're losing, shit shit retreat!' "
Yeah, typed out a post yesterday, but Blogger was all screwy-wewy so couldn't update. So yeah, this is going to be two posts in one. Enjoy/Shudder.
Yesterday:
Ok, Saturday was spent listening to music, playing Warcraft and cruelly ignoring my DotA Sk!lLZorZ and drawing. Then went over to Jo's house. Ended up staying over. Went to bed at about 1, but ended up talking to Jo-Ann about a lot of crap until about 1.30.
She wants to name her first child UmbrellaCake, I'll name mine Assface She wants Orihime from Bleach dead, I want Bleach dead. She builds a land and air army in Warcraft, I massacre all with my pure air army. She thinks Sephiroth is hot, I think he's a mutated gay. She draws crappy anime-human bodies, I draw crappy anime-human heads She doesn't draw fantastic anime-human heads, I don't draw fantastic anime-human bodies. She's crazy, I'm sane.
Went on a Warcraft/Maple/Neopets spree today, the most being Warcraft, the least and most boring being Maple. Even Neopets is more interesting. But I must admit, I would play Maple and attempt to ignore the idiots inside to at least prevent it from becoming a complete and utter joke.
Oh wait, too late. Maple is a joke. Inside is where you'll find the denizens of Singapore wasting their life and money ( not that I object ) grinding to level up in Maple. The English Language, once a beautiful language, has become bastardized and mutilated.
"Where are you going?" -> "You go where?" -> "Euu gooooo were arhxz? Dunchh leaf mii la0 p0!!1!1!"
It's a sick, twisted and horrifying world inside there man.
Oh, and did I mention I skipped Church today? That pretty much makes me a horrible Christian. I mean, I knew that to really believe in God would be hard, but it's just so hard not to succumb to materialistic, wordly desires.
Which makes me wonder: Am I really ready to accept God?
I slacked Practiced extremely hard until 2.30 when Mr GayPGayOGayHGay came. Practiced Kang Ting Qing Ge as well as the new song Mo LestLi Hua. Mo Li Hua really does train you to be focused and trains your endurance. And by that I mean it feels like my fingers are going to drop off, either from the pain, or the string's going to sever them. And on that note, I wonder what would happen if the string snapped. How would life be without one finger.
Or two. Or without a hand. Would be pretty weird. Not to mention frustrating.
Stayed back to play Soccer in my school uniform. Now, before you all get all "No playing in School Uniform" and "Aiyo, triple red shirt how can like this?"...Firstly, thanks for noticing I"m a triple red shirt. Chances are, you aren't. Ha ha. And secondly, I don't really care. Seniors, especially a certain senior, played in their school uniforms. And if you begin to say "But you shouldn't follow him and should set a good example", remember this: I don't really care.
And I wanna go send my laptop for repairs. The cooling system is so screwed. And I want a new graphics card =) Haven't asked my parents yet, but hopefully, can get all the repairs/upgrades done while I am at camp.
After about 2 months of not eating pizza, it was certainly delish to savagely attack and devour it today. The smell of the chicken's still on my hands though. And that sucks.

Me - "Dexter's wearing a training bra and he's PMS'ing" Dexter - "You shut up lah." Kevin - "Dexter, why you so angry? PMS'ing?" Kai Liang - "Where're your sanitary pads? I bet you're wearing 50 of them."
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Mini Class Reunion today. Went out with Kevin, Mervin, Dexter, Travis, Clement, Bob, Choon Hian and Kai Liang ( 2F ) to BUGIS.
Played some arcade games...Failed miserably at Time Crisis 2. And got pwned at Mario Kart. Dexter kept laughing at the Mario nose on my face. Idiot...
Watched D.O.A after that because there was no Death Note. Snap review:
Movie: Dead or Alive ( DOA ) Characters: Hot Storyline: Died Acting: Non-Existent Entertainment Value : 2/5 Final Rating: Watch it if you are like damn bored. Or damn horny. Otherwise, go watch something with better acting. Like Teletubbies.
Wanted to go play LAN, but couldn't play at Bugis because those under 16 must wait till 6.30, even though it's a holiday but nevermind we are nice people =). Yar, and then these two girls kept pestering us for donations. Like hell, can't you tell I don't want to donate. So irritating. Darn girls tried to act cute, open eyes big until like want to explode.
Then we wanted to go play LAN somewhere else. Kai Liang suggested Tampines, but Clement, Kevin and I viciouslyprotested. Then Clement suggested the LAN shop near his house at Potong Pasir. That idea was gunned down by Travis, Mervin, Bob, Choon Hian, Dexter and Kai Liang since they all live near Tampines. So we talked and talked and sidetracked and digressed and went back on topic and lost focus and blah and blah until about 4.30 when we realized that WE'RE BROKE and thus couldn't do anything. Which reminds me, top up my EZ-Link card.
Went home with Clement (after Kevin abandoned us in favour of a faster trip home the sexy SBS Bus ). Had a nice talk with him about next year, the subjects and life in general. Plus, maybe he's going to become a Christian.
But first, let me become a better Christian =)
Thinking that in addition to my Quote at the top of my blog, I'll add a little "Lesson Learned" or something similar at the bottom of every post. Seems kinda redundant though.
And almost-finally, for results:
English: 81 [A1] Maths: 63 [B4] Chinese: 69 [B3] Science: 67 [B3] Literature: 79 [A1] Geography: 82 [A1] History: 76 [A1] Home Economics: 76 [A1] Design And Technology: 74 [A2] Art: 59 [C5] Online Project Work: A1 Civics and Moral Education: A Total: 726/1000 Percentage: 72.6
Not too bad if I say so myself. Pretty decent results, except for my atrocious Maths and Art grades. Last year's total was 637, so it increased by 109, quite a good amount.
Remarks: Linus is a significant member of the class. Bold and outspoken, he speaks up for the right causes. He has tremendous potential and talent. Well done.
=3
Now for PICTURES:
At the stupid childish Whimsy arcade at Seiyu while in Bugis.Playing Basketball game.
Me and Bub Bob =)
Left to Right: Kai Liang, Travis, Clement, Kevin.
Another shot, different angle.
At the Arcade. Kevin, Mervin, Bob and Travis playing some shooting game thingy. Kevin pwned them all. Like that wasn't obvious.
Taken on last day of school, before Financial Literacy course. Me, Dexter and the back of Mervin's head
Now that I think about it, I think I can truthfully, honestly, from-the-bottom-of-my-heart-ly say the following: Best Friends: Kevin, Mervin, Dexter and Charlie. (And me)
New List of people I consider close friends: Real Name - "NickName"
Adeeb Fazah Bin Anwar Aziz Marican - Adeebo Charlie Lim Guan Yi - A-Char Danial Yap Zhen Peng Abdullah - Emo-Nemo. Clement - "It's an anal train." Me - "Oh I see, can I join...Wait, what?"
And so we talked about it for the rest of our lives Where we're gonna be when we turn 25 I keep thinking times will never change Keep on thinking times will always be the same...
But when we leave this year, we won't be coming back No more hanging out, 'cause we're all on different tracks And if you got something that you need to say You better say it right now, 'cause you don't have another day...
'Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down These memories are playing like a film without sound And I keep on thinking of the night in June I didn't know much of love, but it came too soon...
And there was me and you, and then it got real blue Stay at home, talkin' on the telephone And we would get so excited and we would get so scared Laughing at ourselves thinking life's not fair...
And this is how it feels...
As we go on We remember All the times We had together...
And as our lives change Come whatever We will still be Friends forever...
So if we get the big jobs And we get the big money When we look back now Will our jokes still be funny...
Will little brainy Bobby be the stockbroker man Can Heather find a job that won't interfere with her tan I keep thinking that it's not goodbye Keep on thinking that's it's a time to fly...
And this is how it feels
As we go on We remember All the times We had together...
And our lives change Come whatever We will still be Friends Forever...
We will still be Friends Forever
Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now Can we survive it out there can we make it somehow I guess I thought that this would never end And suddenly it's like we're women and men...
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us round Will this memories fade when I leave this town I keep thinking that it's not goodbye Keep on thinking that it's our time to fly...
As we go on We remember All the times We had together...
And our lives change Come whatever We will still be Friends Forever...
As we go on We remember All the times We had together...
And our lives change Come whatever We will still be Friends Forever...
As we go on We remember All the times We had together...
And our lives change Come whatever We will still be Friends Forever...

Me - "I'm a fricking hobo lah...I HAVE LIKE NO MORE MONEY!"[Flops down on table] Lecturer - "And now, we'll move on to Loansharks and Bankruptcy." Me - "I should pay attention to this." Travis, Charlie and Dexter - [Burst out laughing]
Two parts to this post, 1st part's "normal", 2nd part's emo. But it's good emo, I suppose.
First, the good news: I've gotten into Camp Instructors' Course, Leadership Training Camp AND Peer Leader Camp. I'm like one of the few Sec 2s who are going to take (so-called" Triple Red-Shirt, derived from the ever-lovely Triple Science.
I was uber nervous when they split us into groups, because my group had exactly 20, the supposed number of people that were going to get cut. Then when Senior Matthias broke the good news, it was a real relief. Later, Nicholas Yee came to my class, and passed me the LTC form. I was high for the rest of the day. Really, really high.
Financial Literacy rocked. The game, Praxis, is so fun. Mervin and I are the best, getting retrenched before we even finished our first round. Stayed unemployed for about 70% of the game, my money flowing away like menses blood during a period. Finally got a job and quickly upgraded to Minister. But still only had about 30k at the end of the game. Could have had 42k, but lost my only property due to Property Damage. Bob won, beating his nearest competitor by $300. Excellent, considering that he had $183,000,900. Darn him.
Oh by the way, got my results back. Did the filing of the SA and CA cards with Adeeb, Brandon and Abbas =) Justin's report book is MISSING XD
6 A1s, 1 A2, 2 B3s, 1 B4, 1 C5. Actual figures will come tomorrow. Or Friday. Whichever.
Ok, the rest of this post will be emo. Anyone who wishes not to read, must leave now. Bye.
Second last day of school tomorrow. But I'm not really happy.
It's been 2 years since I joined Victoria School, close to 2 years anyway. And it's been filled with ups and downs, but mostly ups. Yet, tomorrow's the last day we'll officially be together as a class. And it's really gut-wrenching to think of that. All the good times we had together...
I'll miss all of you guys, seriously. It's been a wonderful 2 years, and laughter has filled almost everyday of my life, thanks to you guys.
It's so hard to accept that tomorrow marks the so-called End of Victoria School Class 2C. Next year, we split up. 2 of my closest friends are leaving for IP...
Sigh....
The feelings are really mixed. Part of me's happy that we're all going for what we want, but another part of me, the selfish part perhaps, just wishes we could stay together and just have fun. But that's not possible. I just have to learn to let go...But, it's really so hard...
So, here's a mini-tribute to the people in my class who have really made my life at VS a truly enjoyable one.
Adeeb Fazah Bin Anwar Aziz Marican : We got to know each other right from the start, at the Sec 1 Orientation Camp. You joined ELDDS with me, and we really clicked, our passion for drama-related things common. You've been a good friend, and a very good influence on me, with your constant hard work, good grades and easy-going personality. Without you, I'm sure that my 2 years would have a lot less interesting, and definitely less fun. You're going to VIP next year, so I really wish you all the best. I really appreciate the time we spent together, and cherish it.
Danial Yap Zhen Peng Abdullah : You're not leaving VS, which I'm grateful for. Although we seem to have drifted apart in the last couple of months, I still consider you one of my best friends. Your sarcasm and pessimistic, dry sense of humour was much appreciated, and though sometimes I feel you went overboard, it'll have been a lot less fun without you. You're staying in VS, and I hope that we can have a lot more enjoyable times together.
Nicholas Eng Jun Hao : EngBaBa! You're leaving for TA. My god...All those fun times we had, your comical actions often brightened my day, not to mention your wacky sense of humour. Worked with you on many projects, and you're definitely leader material. We may have argued several times, but I hope you really do consider me a close friend, because I do consider you one. One of my closest friends really. So, all the best in TA, and I wish you all the best. Hope you find what you want in life.
...
I know it might sound repeititive, but I really can't bear to think that we're splitting up. Adeeb's going to VIP, Nicholas is going to TA, and Danial's aiming for a different subject combination. The 4 of us are going to go our separate ways...And it's...it's...It's really just so...damn...sad...
I'm actually crying as I type this, all the emotions are beginning to come out. All the sadness at knowing that we'll no longer be able to spend so much time together, laughing, joking, teasing one another all in goodwill. It really makes you wonder how much you appreciate your closest friends, and if you've spent your time with them well.
But still...Life always has Bei Huan Li He, which means sadness and happiness, separation and unity. Without one of each pair, you can't fully appreciate the other.
It's just so hard though...You guys are really a special bunch of friends. And I just wanna say a big Sorry for everything I've done that has angered you in any way. It's been a fantastic, absolutely fantastic 2 years with you guys...I'll miss the three of you...And I'll always remember you guys. You don't forget your closest friends...
I'm so going to cry tomorrow when we bid each other farewell.
And I'm not going to be embarrassed about it.
After all, I'm already crying right now...

Me - "Why is Bryan's name represented by a P?" Ser Yang - "It stands for Pig." Me -"Oh..." [A while later] Bryan - "I need to get a strike." Ser Yang - "You need to stop breathing."
3 days without blogging. You all must be practically shrivelled up without my wonderful advice.
Yeah, I wish.
Sunday was a good day. 'Cept I didn't go church because I was feeling quite sick. Jo's got me hooked on NeoPets again. Damn.
Monday was a Waste. Of. Time. Seriously, folding paper cranes for charity? Ok, so one crane can be exchanged for a bowl of rice. Whee, wow. Call me a spoilt brat or whatever, I seriously don't care. Not about that, not at that point in time, not now. It was so retarded and irritating to be in the hall, and it was so bloody hot as well. Thanks to the "Heat Generator" behind me. *Smirk*.
Wanted to kacao Adeeb, but he went home because he's Muslim. =( So...I was pretty bored for the rest of the day. Dexter managed to entertain me with his endless giggling and mutilated cranes that he kept naming after me.
Me - "Dexter's retarded." Dexter - [Snatches my paper cranes] Me - "Eh..." Dexter - "Say you're sorry." Me - "Sorry." Dexter - "Please." Me - "Please." Dexter - "Please, Dexter" Me - "...Please, Dexter." Dexter - "I'm retarded." Me - [Smirk] "I know." Dexter - "You die." [Throws away paper cranes] Me - "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...Whatever."
Grrr...Darn Dexter.
Went to Mos Burger with Yogi and Chang Da for lunch, then over to Yogi's house. Took a taxi there, with the most vulgar, most crude taxi driver I've ever seen in my life. He was shouting obscenities and everything. Even pulled down the window to shout "BOY YOU FROM WHAT SCHOOL?" at some guy. When the boy replied "R.I", the driver raised the window and was like "See...KNNBCB" Wanted to scold him soooo bad, but we were in his taxi and everything. Made me sooo pissed off.
Dentist appointment with Dr Cheng after that. Missed my stop and Bus 22, so ended up having to walk from McPherson Secondary School to the Ubi Dental Clinic. Took about 10 minutes, arriving about 20 minutes later. So instead of my 4.15 appointment, I had it at 5.15...Yay. Joy...Went back with the horrifying knowledge that three of my (milk) teeth have to drop out in 2 months' time, or they'll be pulled out. Couldn't get Pizza Hut either because of Hari Raya the next day...Wairrrr
Went for BOWLING with Wee Bian, Ser Yang, Amos, Hin Kai and Bryan today. Won the first round, came in 2nd the 2nd round (Losing to Amos by 5 points due to a completely-wasted strike ). Stopped to play Dai Di ( Which I soooo woooonnnn), and when we went back to bowling, I proceeded to suck for the rest of the 3 games. Yeah...It was crap. I really don't like stopping because I lose my momentum. And that's bad. Reeeeeally bad.
Gah...Gotta go school tomorrow. Got Financial Literacy course tomorrow and Thursday. Suppose to go to Vivo City on Friday with Mervin and the rest. But it's in the afternoon...and I have my usual bloody tuition.
I hate chinese tuition after the holidays.
Nah...
I hate Chinese Tuition. Period.
Dammit.

Me - " But we want to create a scary atmosphere right from the start!" John - " We should put scary music." Me - " I agree." John - "So what?" Me - "I dunno, it's a tie between Vincent playing the Zhong Ran and Ser Yang's playing of the Er Hu..."
I ammmmmmmmmmmm sooooooooooooooooooo borrrreeddddd lahhhh...
At Jo-Ann's house now. Been bored since 8, but I can't go back. Arghhhh...I'm not getting enough sleep...So...much...sleep...debt...*Dies*
And Yogi just *Major Slap*'d, *Punch*d and *Pummel*d me. Via MSN.
Random Fact: Kingdom of Loathing rocks. And it's a stick game. It beats most MMORPGS out there really. Random Fact 2: Neopets suck. Or sucks. Collective Noun, or not? Hmmm...
I am sooooo bored...I NEED STUFF TO DOOOOOOOOOO.
And Jo-Ann just fell asleep in front of her computer. Which is running Dungeon Keeper. Radiation might kill her brain cells. What little she has. I must do something.
*Grabs popcorn*
I WANNA GO HOME.
Yogi made Tamim cry, and pummel'ed Yang En. Therfore, Yogi = Teh <3.
OMGGGGGG...LTC and PLC interview was soooo scary lah...We were all in the room, then Danial and Clement went. Then Hasif, Pei Xiang and I were like rocking back and forth on our chairs ( well actually only me ) and going like "omg omg omg omg !Xobile omg!"
Then it was finally my turn. I was like super nervous. Luckily, we had a little "tip". Picked up the fallen broom and one of the two pieces of rubbish on the floor.
When I walked into the room, I was like: "Ren An...Oh...Oh!" Mr Jonathan Oh was there too, but he didn't interview me after all, leaving Ren An, Syamil, the Ching Boon (Prefect) and two others whom I recognize but don't know their names. So whatever.
Went for CO prac after that. Zhen Lao Shi is quite the...Maestro in a very loose sense of the word. Dramatic in a way, a larrrrrrrrrrge way. But he knows his stuff.
CO Prac on Friday sucks man. Clashes with ELDDS, with tuition ( which I mind, because then it'll get shifted to Saturday, which sucks even more ), and if it's on Saturday, then we can play SOCCER! No you aren't blind. And stop laughing, I do play soccer, dammit.
Stayed back for some important stuff which cannot be disclosed. Argh...Hope it all goes well, because we're (probably) in-charge and if it screws up...Dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. But it's (hopefully) a new take on things that should be well-received. At least we're not going to scare the bejesus out of them.
Not all of it anyway.
Sigh..so bored...About 15 minutes left till my mum says she's done with Mahjong. But, it's my mum...
Sigh...so bored...45 minutes left...

Auntie Melinda - "Linus, are you ok or not?" Auntie Jem - "Maybe he's in shock." Uncle Richard - "Are you ok? Why are you looking down like that?" Me - "...I'm playing Sudoku on my handphone...Relax..."
Me - "Adeeb, congrats, you beat me for English. I can't possibly beat 44" Mr Maran - "Linus, your paper." Me - [Goes up, sees a 52.] "HIIEK!" Mr Maran - "Are you ok?" Me - "...Yes..." [Squeal]
Today was a most splendiferous day!
Chinese results far exceeded expectations. But ultimately, a 69 for Chinese isn't satisfactory at all, which just shows how low my expectations were to begin with ( kissing the ground for one).
English results rocked. I was already congratulating Adeeb on my results. Seriously, I thought that my compo and functional writing were incredibly bad, so it was a major shocker/relief to see a 52 ( 26 for each component ) on my Paper 1. Became super high after I learnt of my oral marks...83.3% for SA 2, 37.8 % for the entire year. That means:
15% of CA1 + 15% of CA2 + 25% of SA1 needs to only exceed 37.2 for me to achieve my A1. Of course, a score of at least 45 for those three would be far better...But...Sigh...
C.O was kind of a bummer though. My sheer stupidity and carelessness in losing the attendance list meant that the CO committee had to be greatly troubled. So, a huge Sorrygoes out to Ser Yang,Ren An, Benjamin Lin and Delson. And due to possible "disclosure issues", I can't possibly talk about what we stayed back for after practice.
AND WE GOT THE VSCO LTC PICTURESSS! GOING TO TOTALLY LOOK AT THEM LATER.
Dinner was truly...unique for me The food was great. The drinks were great. The waitress dropping a tray of bowls and plates behind me ( a bowl bouncing off my spine ) wasn't that great, but to have everyone ( even from other tables ) fussing over me felt kinda nice. For about...30 seconds. Then it was a bit annoying.
But really, the table next to us were celebrating two birthdays. And we just happened to also celebrate Auntie Melinda and Uncle Richard's birthdays too. So it was really nice to see our two tables just sing for each other. Two tables of people, who didn't know each other at all, joked and laughed merrily as if they were life-long friends or something.
*Sigh*. The world can be a wonderful place sometimes

Dad - "How about this sandal?" Me - "...No." Dad - "But it's fashionable." Me - "No." Dad - "Try lah." Me - "Never." Dad - "Fussy boy." Me - "...It's your genes..." Dad - "Try..." Me - "Fine." [Tries] "Hell no."
Slap me and call me a titty-biscuit...would ya?
Got back my Science, Geography, Maths, Home Ec and English Paper 2 Exam Scripts today. Geography's decent at 81.4, Home Ec at 80.6...and so far, 41/50 for English Paper 2. Just hope Paper 1 doesn't pull it down since it's like a super close fight with Adeeb for 1st in class. Then again, my composition was incredibly boring, functional writing committed suicide...so yar...damn.
Maths -> 59/100 for the paper. Science -> Physics - 17/30 -> Biology - 19/30 -> Chemistry - 21/30. -> Total - 57/90, which is ~63/100
... Just feel like screaming a long anguished scream at these pathetic results!
And since I'm feeling quite...pissed-off right now...
I'm completely sick and tired of people who are so fricking biased against certain CCAs. Like Chinese Orchestra for one. Hello, you should at least give it a try before passing judgement. In that case, at least you know you won't like it. What's bad is those *beeps* that won't give the thing just 1 try.
Oh, and what's worse are those assholes who come straight up to me, or at least very purposefully, state that Chinese Orchestra sucks, then look so surprised at my irritation. Hello, assholes, if I were to go up to you and spit in your face that YOUR CCA, that YOU LIKE/LOVE, sucks balls, is terribly useless and should be disbanded, tell me if you'd be pissed off. If you say no. then you're lying through your teeth. These kind of people can just get the hell out of my life. I love my CCAs, and if they "sucked", why are they scoring well academically and in their respective competitions? ( SYF for one) Yeah that's right you fagbags, think about it.
Next thing.
Max and Matthew are seriously getting on my nerves with their oh-so-smart questions.
Dear Matthew and Max: We do not need your stupid pointless and time-wasting comments. When a teacher says, for example, that a tree is 100 years old, we do not need to hear you suddenly pipe up "Wow, Sir, that's quite old." The whole class groans and flinches at your "smart" comments. Take a hint and drill the damn thing through that bloody thick skull of yours. Gosh, you two are so fricking thick-skinned and oblivious, you actually think you're funny and "smart". But really, you're just so sad and so desperately crave attention. Go get attention the right way, do stuff to deserve it. Sooner or later, people are going to tire of your idiotic ways, aka when they MATURE. And when that time comes, let's see how pitiful you become. I hope I'll be there. To laugh. And to stomp on your hand if you ever dare ask for help. Not only will I laugh at you, I will gleefully ignore your pleas and further taunt you. Get a life, and a brain.
Yours Sincerely ~Linus
I am so fricking pissed right now. My hair is butchered, my neck is throbbing with some mysterious pain...Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

[HangMan] Mervin - "Famous Footballer-" Adeeb - "Mickey Mouse!" Me - [Falls off chair with laughter]
Whee hee hee hee hee. It's an ElMO's world.
Hey cool, tried to strike out the "L", but now it looks rather nice.
Linus
...Mehh...
Anyways...Sunday was a great day yep yep. Church was great as always, but Shereen and Robin didn't turn up, well, Robin not for the lesson anyway. Ivan taught, then brought us to a nearby coffeeshop for breakfast =) Decided to go for service because I wanted to offer a thanksgiving to the oh-so-wonderful God above for letting me get into CIC. But ended up not sharing...Darn you lack of courage.
Oh, and we sang "Power Of Your Love." I <3>inus's character was very very good, but unfortunately Light "Kira" Yagami ( aka IMAGAY ) sucked. Same actor as the actor of Shu(u)ya Nanahara in Battle Royale.
And Jo got me hooked on Ouran High School. To quote Haruhi Fujioka " Damn rich bastards!"
Monday, had stomach cramps and gastric pain. Morning was hell. On the way to the doctor, saw this old woman, her husband and a kind woman. The old woman had fallen down, so we decided to carry her to the clinic. Anyway, did so, got my digusting medicine, went back home and basically half-played computer half-slept for the rest of the day.
TODAYYY.
20 students from 2C doing the survey means 19 students are left. Assuming full attendance. Which didn't happen. Were left with about 12 students. Played Floorball for P.E. Poor Li Zhi got injured when the ever-so-vicious Vikash accidentally tripped him. The horror...The cruelty...The playing ball got crushed I mean poor Li Zhi. Poor, poor ballLi Zhi. I feel your pain, I share your pain. Here, have it all back =)
Oh, and after our incredibly stupid and useless Police Talk, Mr Randell Siow had the "Self-Defence" session. I now know how people will react, and will thus be able to more efficiently eviscerate them with a knife or any other sharp pointy object. I have also learnt how to be a pickpocket, and how to defend myself against people defending themselves against my offense/defense. Spiffy. They used this super-nice punchy-glove thingy. Oh, and apparently, the chin, neck and gut are very ideal places for striking. The most informative day of school...Ever! *Cackle*
Tuition after holidays is soooooo pointless lah. I could tell even my tuition teacher was super bored since we had nothing to do, so we ended up reading the stupid "Holiday Assignment" book. By the way, as if the stupid title wasn't a clue ( Near or Far...WTF?), the actual book sucks such a massive humoungous gigantic megaton-esque amount of balls that it's not even funny. At all. It's so boring, I was contemplating simply decomposing out of sheer boredom.
And the uber-imba haze is finally getting to me. Sneezed like 3 times on the way home (after getting off the bus) and I hadn't sneezed in like...6 hours at school. Coincidence? I THINK NOT! * Shakes fist*
Ahhh...since my oh-so-zealous fans are threatening to burn, maim and mutilate if I do not update, I shall. Or else they'd go psycho and hurt some puppies. And that'd be bad. I must think of the puppies!

So anyway, yesterday was the VS...Graduation..Buffet. Whee. Whee.. Whee... ... It was seriously a waste of time. Left house at 4 to meet Mervin at Parkway to shop for his church girlfriend's birthday present. Ended up buying a huge cat stuff toy/pillow from MiniToons. Damn cute...I WANT!!! Met Kevin after that, bought Cookies n Cream ice-cream from Scoopz and then decided to walk to VS since we had like half an hour left. But being the lazy people we are, we ended up catching a Bus 16. Adeeb called me on the bus, I was like "Oh crap, Adeeb, please don't be at Parkway. PLEASEEEE!"
Anyway, reached there, excitedly went to confirm that I was in CIC...Then went up to the hall to hear Mr Wong Liang Seng sing "You Raise Me Up." Saw the tribute videos of the teachers, most were very nice. Most. Those were not nice shall not be mentioned...For now.
*Evil laugh*
Helped out with Mervin and Danial at the VIP table. Ms Koh was SOOO extra, being all like "Oh! Linus, serving me! I'm so flattered!"...
Wanted to bury my face in the mutton rendang. But that would have looked a tad funny to Mr Low, Mr Lim and all the other VIPs.
And the red apron made me look fat. That sucked. Thank god none of the seniors ( that I actually care/give a damn about ) noticed me. I hoped. No wait, See Kiat did, but he probably doesn't recognize/remember me. I'm so unloved!
*Depressing music plays, black background, a child walks in, slits wrist*
Ahhhh...And Danial sent me an SMS, that wasn't meant for me, because it was actually bitching about me, but he didn't mean to send to me, but wanted to send to someone else, but he didn't because he must have been confused/tired/emo/all of the above and sent it to me instead.
...BUT WHATEVER MAN! Let's move on to HAPPY HAPPY STUFF! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Wanted to picture blog for this part, but A)Couldn't be bothered B)Couldn't be bothered C)Couldn't be bothered. D)Not enough time.
Mehhhhh, anything else to blog about? Oh yeah.
Brunei trip got cancelled. Really hope PDPC meeting can be arranged and held. Get into LTC and PLC Get the Subject Combination of my choice. Do well in exams.
But before I go, I leave you all with a version of You Raise Me Up. This is a very nice version, that contains the rarely-heard 2nd verse...Very emotional ( in a good way ) and inspiring.
You Raise Me Up - Im Tae Kyung
This video totally blew me away. It's "Asia's Songbird" Regine Velasquez singing Aerosmith's I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing. The last chorus is...Fabulous. I know at least 5 people who would give anything for a vocal range like this. Everything from 1:45 onwards is fantabulous!

[After Chinese Class] Me - " I don't want the darn blue file!" Ms Wong - "Haiya, it's a present lah..." [Walks into Staff Room] Me - "..."
[Few minutes later]
Me - "Ms Lim, did did did did did Dexter and I get into the CIC programme?" Ms Lim - "Why should I tell you?" Me - "Cuz you rock." Ms Lim - "Bribe me." Me - "Here's a beautiful blue file, for you."
I'M IN FOR CIC! OMG OMG OMG! I AMMMM LIKE SOOOOO HAPPY RIGHT ABOUT NOW!
Note: Sophie, this is what you might have wanted to do when you got in for SYF.
Ok, so today was the chinese paper. So-so, although I was having a MAJOR headache during the paper and surviving on 4.5 hours of sleep, so I was a biiiiiiiiiiiiiit tired. But anyway, managed to answer all the questions. Zao Ju was a bit of a disappointment since there was a sentence I suppose I got wrong. Sigh...
Went with Dexter to the Staff Room to begask teachers about the results of the CIC. After asking Ms Lim, we asked Ms Raksha, then Mr Gabriel, then Ms Lim. Then went to the Home Ec room to find Mdm Yasmin there...And we could have just asked her...Since she's our form teacher and all.
And all those from our class who applied got it! Boo-yah! At the desperate request of Nicholas, I agreed to be his partner for the graduation buffet this friday. And it's their punishment for breaking my oh-so-exquisite specs. Sigh, I'm sooo nice.
Mervin just reminded me: Go watch Battle Royale. Again. It rocks, seriously.
Ahhh, skip to the fun part, BOWLING. Katong Shopping Centre was a badddddd idea, so we went to TAMPINES SAFRA!
Unfortunately, I took 6 rounds to warm up today. That means that I spent 6 games adjusting, adapting and screwing up my score. Won the 7th round, purely by fluke though. But by the time the 8th round came, I was like soooo tired ( as was everyone else ).
And then there was the in-house entertainment. The dysfunctional bowlers on either side of us.
Here's some examples of how they bowled.
Girl #1: Drops ball onto the lane, ball rolls into gutter soon after. Girl #2: Drops ball into the gutter... Girl #3: Drops ball onto the divider(!) and then balls drops into gutter. Girl #4: Swings and throws ball at the pins. Girl #5: Swings only to realize she never took a ball ( I laughed so hard when I saw this that I had to stop in mid-swing ) Girl #6: Swings only to drop the ball. Girl #7: Steps on the lane and slips. She was the first in her clique to actually hit a pin.
Clement started to imitate their style of throwing. He actually knocked down some pins. Proving that those girls are not only lousy bowlers, but also stupid.
As Mervin said on his blog, "Linus was laughing like crazy"
Oh, and there were this group of boys..No, that's not fair. It was just one out of that group of boys. Typical pai-kia asshole. Kept screaming stuff like "WAH NICE ONE GORDAN!" and "HONG GAN ARH!". Clement and I wanted to chuck a ball at them...But we're nice people...
AND I"M IN CIC! WOOOOOO HOOOO!!
*Happy happy happy*
Spent about $35++ today though.
*Not-so happy happy happy*
But probably going out with Danial, Nicholas, Yan Jun and some other people on Friday for Dance Dance RetardRevolution and the omgwhatdoIdonowswingmyhands Para Para Paradise.
*Happy happy happy*
I love you all. *Heart*

Nice Fact: Rearranging the letters in "Iodine" gives you "No, I Die." Nice Fact: Fluorine is an element that becomes an Ion with 10 electrons and a single negative charge. Not-So-Nice Fact: My Science Papers.
As we all should know, barring abnormal stupidity, a picture is said to speak a thousand words. Therefore, to save myself the trouble of explaning myself, this time I will try "Picture Blogging", a style invented by yourself deadly truly that uses little words, mainly using pictures to express my feelings of deep loathing and emo-hatred hate.

Exam bitching discussion/analysis time!
Wednesday was...MT Paper 1 and Geography. Wrote about the possibility of setting up free tuition centres in neighbourhoods for my Ying Yong Wen, and about the importance of good health for my Zuo Wen. Rather ironic, since the haze fiasco came along quite soon. Geography was ok, managed to finish my entire paper. I know I screwed up my MCQ and Mapwork though, so counting on my SEQ to pull me up. *Crosses fingers*. I need a 54 to get an A1 for overall. But 75's still bad.
Thursday saw EL Paper 1 and Home Econs. EL paper 1 went rather badly. The Newspaper report was to be written about some country experiencing the worst flood in its history. Couldn't really think of much since my mind was so dead and stuff. Composition wasn't good either, again since my brain was so dead. Wrote about a fight on the school bus on the way home. Couldn't think of names for the characters, so just threw in some random ones. Congratulations, Benjamin and Timothy! XD.
Home Econs was wtfbbq hard. GONNA FLUNK HOME ECONS...
Friday was dear ol MATHS. Paper 1 was hard. Paper 2 was a killer. Had to beg Mdm Yasmin to let me write down my last answer. Sense of integrity...Well, what little integrity I have manifests itself at the strangest moments. No qualms about doing some things, but as for others...Bleh.
Church tomorrow, gonna have to pray. Wondering whether to go for service, probably will. Hope Reverend Kang (I think it's Kang)preaches again, his sermons are really interesting.
Science on Monday, EL Paper 2 on Tuesday, CL Paper 3 on Wednesday. Need luck for Science, all my modules are dying. Especially Chemistry, my strongest module, seems to be taking a huge hit. And need lotsa luck for Chinese. My Li Jie Che Yan (2) drops my marks like hell...Then again, I am in the last chinese class for a reason.

Me - "...Do I seem like the kind of person who gets awards for having the most charming personality around? No, I think not, so get lost."
... ... ...
Sigh...Today, was a day...of...dayness...I feel like blogging, yet I have absolutely nothing to blog about...What to type...what to type...what to typeeee
Well, today's exams were a lovely bunch. The Mother Tongue Paper 1 resulted in lots of excitement and buzz as the papers were collected and the pupils streamed out the classroom like the good brainwashed kids we are, talking how what question did you choose, what did you write, who's your daddy etc etc etc.
Geography paper was teh ub3r-sex. The ever-so-exciting 20 MCQ questions were daunting, but I survived. Basic Data Response was next, but I valiantly smashed through that with my enchanted sword and magical correction tape, along with my faithful sidekick FoolScap Boy! The Mapwork proved a formidable foe, but was nevertheless conquered as I flung spells of "measuring", ducked "really confusing symbols" and retaliated with flaming fireballs of "protractors." The SEQ questions looked impossible to beat, so I quickly distracted them, picking them off one by one. First up was the Human Population Explosion and its effects. After a long battle, I emerged victorious. However, Sidekick Boy had fallen, his blue blood ( aka pen ink ) mysteriously and coincidentally having formed an essay.
I'm sorry, but if I continue typing like that, I think I'll blow up or something.
Tackled Ozone Layer and Global Warming yada yada yada. Managed to finish on time although lots of people ( like the Nic-Ker-La-Shi guy ) couldn't due to extremely long "essays", lack of time management, or just overzealousness in regurgitating what we've learnt from the textbook. Yes, it is, isn't it? We just sit down, cram everything into our head, then proceed to "vomit"everything out so we can score well. How many actually remember what they've been taught?
Ok, enough "philosphical" waxing. Got down to thinking a bit about what I want to do in the future after a thought-provoking question from Mr Flabulous.
What can I do?
Act. Play some instruments. Drive people nuts.
...Hmmm...Maybe something in politics?
Nah.
Sigh, my choices are actually quite limited...I can't pursue a career of being a full-time actor, because it's just not stable money. I mean, I need to support my mum, dad and my brother when I grow up. Dear mum wants me to become a lawyer. Not that I mind, but I really do want to chase my dreams. And I don't think I'm that kind of person who can throw away his dreams...It's so...daunting, when you think about it. Yet I can't just be like others and be all "Oh, I'll think about it when the time comes." I can't bring myself to give up what I want, yet if I do, I can't support my family...
... ... ...
ARGH!
Life can just bite you in the ass like that. Maybe...Maybe a lawyer and part-time actor. That could work...It's not as good as being a full-time actor, and given the chance, I'd rather be a full-time actor above anything else. I don't care if I"m offered a $1 Million a year to be some scientist or anything, I rather act. It's about the passion, not the money. Oh yeah, money's important too, but I'd probably quit a job I don't like after (at most) a year or so.
Life isn't unfair. But it's hard to believe that sometimes...

[Staffroom] Me -"OMG, this sign is sooo cool! Place on hard surface...bang head here until unstressed or unconscious...Cool!" Victor - " Bang your head lah." Me - "Ok!" [One bang later] Me - "Hey it works. But I think Ms Sharma saw me. She's giggling." Ms Lim - "Linus, you siaow arh? First time I see people do that."
I am proud to announce, that I have royally, completely, and totally screwed up my Camp Instructor's Course. Is it wrong to hope others screw up? Cuz that's what I find myself doing...
The last day of lessons in school was oh, so much fun! Kicked off with Ms Raksha's Geography lesson, fun-filled with laughter as always. I dunno, maybe it's the fact that I won't be seeing these bunch of guys much after this year, especially people like Nicholas, Adeeb, Bob and Kevin. And to a certain extent, Ashraf. The last guy I could give more of a damn about. But thankfully, I'll still be overly-hyper and happy in VS with all my slavesfriends. Yup yup.
P.E...I had so much energy inside me, so basically released it all during Soccer. Was actually contemplating not playing because I wasn't feeling well, but thought "What the heck." According to some people, I played very well. Which...I don't understand. I just blocked a few balls and tackled a lot of people, a lot of times. Well, Mr Tan said "Good job, Linus!" So that must count for something. Or, it would, except he's the kind of teacher that kinda says it to everyone.
Chinese, well, that was a down-period. But since a row (Or column, the vertical one) Fabian took my seat, and Wai Chung wanted his seat, and I was too naive to take David's seat, I rushed around trying to find a seat that wasn't planted in the middle of the people I don't like. Then Victor pointed out Eugene's seat.
Victor - "Sit here lah." Me - "I can't take away Eugene's rightful seat! I can't bear to see myself do it." [Looks away while dumping bag on chair] Me - "Done." Victor - "..."
Me - "Eh...Is that my paper...Hey wait...Isn't this...Heh heh...Heh heh..." [Starts laughing, somewhat maniacally] Yi Jun - "Err..." Eugene - "Crazy" Victor - "Duh..." [Calms down] Me - "No, you see. I heh heh, thought I forgot to bring the paper. So I went to photocopy from Dexter and filled in all the answers, except for those I couldn't remember. Then I finished up the other sections. And now, I have the original one, with the answers for the first part. And I can't find the photocopy with answers with the REST OF THE PARTS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Note that he didn't actually say dot-dot-dot. Because you can't actually say "...". Unless you can, then surprise me.
The uber Mr Maran cracked lotsa lame-ass jokes during the lesson today. But before he came, Mervin and I had this stupid hold-breath compeitition. He timed 1.34, then I timed 1.35, then he hold until 2.05. Then it was super-scary...His face was sooooooo white, then he suddenly flopped back on his chair. Poke him, no response, pinch, no response. Jack him, also no response. Then finally Clement "revived" him with a typically-ever-so-vicious-nipplelizer. Ouchie. His face stayed quite white for a while...Then after drinking water reverted back to its normal colour. I almost thought he died, but saw him blink. Not bad, mebbe get him to act for EMD.
Maths, was the best lesson I ever had. Outrageous conversations. Clement was like totally challenging Ms Lim!
Clement - "You didn't teach us Discreet solutions" Ms Lim - "If I can find in your maths 1 leh?" Clement - "Try lor!" Ms Lim - "Ok arh, I find!" [Points finger at Clement, trying to poke him in mock-anger] Clement - [Raises finger to meet Ms Lim] "E.T phone home..." Me - [Laughs hysterically]
Justin - "If one of the solutions isn't 48, I, I'll strip!" Ms Lim - "Ok, it's not. Strip." Entire class - "NO!"
Me -"Bob, stapler please." Bob - "Huh?" Me - "Stapler." Bob - [Blank look] Me - "Stapler...Stapler...Stap. Ler...Stapler...STAPLER. GIVE ME THE DAMN STAPLER LAH!" Bob - "Ok ok, don't shout lah." Me - [Fumes]
Ahh...Such wonderful days...Will not last long. Until the 26th October will we all be together, as Victoria School Class 2C of Year 2006. Then after that, we part ways, some leaving for IP, while those in VS split into different subject combinations...
But enough of that. MT Paper 1 and Geography tomorrow!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Me - "Mr Maran, do you teach 2I?" Mr Maran - "Yes." Me - "Do you have the -pleasure- of teaching Tamim?" Mr Maran - "Oh man..." [Buries face in hand] Me - "Yeah I thought so. Between him and our class, it's nice to feel your sanity slipping away isn't it?"
Yogi isn't my fan... Oh. My. God. I sooooo LOVEmy new camera ok! It's like soooooo nice...
Here's a piccy!
And here's the first photo I took with it:
Nice ain't it? Only thing I don't like is that it makes everything look so...frozen-like. And my wall is actually quite a dark blue, the flash + the overhead lighting really changed the thing.
Stayed back today with Dexter, Victor, Kevin, Mervin and Clement for some studying. Managed to...for a while, then someone had this brilliant idea of revising game-show style. Where someone asked a question, and the rest must bang the table and say "EHHHHHHH!"
So after fruitless attempts to study in that way, Fadhil made his great, grand entrance. Dexter made the mistake of insulting him and nearly got rolled over.
Oh, and I got bombarded with newspapers in the moring. Ouchies.
Went down with the guys to smuggle up drinks and some food. Had to take the long way since Mr Koh was in 2D...It's like...1 minute more lor...So troublesome...Like whatever man.
Finished up the Geography homework assignment, which leaves me with nothing to do now. 'Cept for the chinese, but that is hard as hell man...Seriously, we haven't even learnt half the words yet lor...And the Deng Mi has got me sooooooooooooooo stressed out man!
So, just to relax:
Can you say Diabetes?
AND OMG, OMG OMG. The CIC mini-interview thing is tomorrow lah...
66 applicants 40 places...
Oh my goshsticks! I know I don't really have a good chance. CCA-Wise, many have a better record than me. And Academics-wise...I'm not outstanding. Hell, I'm not even good! I NEED ADVICE!!!! HELP ME PEOPLE!!!!
Oh, and for those saying my blog isn't so funny anymore...
For those without a blog, shut up and go get one.
For those who have one, try making every post funny. Not only is it a bitch, it also kills your interest for blogging because you have to try and INFUSE humour into every. single. damn post. And it's near exam-time too. I know there are people out there who can go "Hi" and have everyone and their mother laughing, but I'm not one of those people. I'm not a fricking well or cornucopia of creativity, witty lines and funtastic lines. So don't expect me to be one. I'm just bi-polar.
When I'm happy, I'm WAY too happy! When I'm neutral, I'm perfectly neutral. When I'm pissed-off; I lose it.

[Msn] Yogi - "During my birthday I got a bra." Me - "LOL!" Yogi - "From Kiron." Me - "We should give Tamim a bra..." Yogi - "Kiron took his sister's old bra and wrapped it. >.<> Me - "What the hell man..." Yogi - "Kiron, is this a bra? He said he cleaned it." Me - "That's definitely going to be the quote of my blog..."
Ok, since SOOOO many of my adoring fans ( aka Yogi ) have pleaded for me to blog, I shall. Get down on your knees.
But first announcements. We're looking for members to join the newly-created WTH Club ( We, Tamim Haters). Yes, I am aware of that a similar club has been formed that's called The World. In fact, the WTH Club is a branch of The World club; we basically specialize in making Tamim's life a complete misery.
Quick Fact: 99% of people - dead, alive and to-be-born hate Tamim. The other 1% constitutes of Tamim himself, that fatass.
And now back to the blog.
I last blogged on Thursday. It wasn't a long blog spot because I was immensely depressed over forgetting to take a picture of the dinner I ate at Jack's Place. As a result, I drank 10 cups too many of D'Presso and promptly fell asleep.
Friday wasn't fun. Stayed back in class to fast with the Muslim boys. Monkey Man didn't come, so staying back to get the papers was a waste of time. Almost died in the morning because I found out the ELDDS BBQ was meant to be on 30th SEPTEMBER. I thought it was October and said I couldn't make it. As a result, it got postponed to 21st October. And I almost died ( again ) because I thought it'd clash with the leadership camps. Then in the night, halfway through a very nice conversation with Sophiesticated Sophie, I realized that the CAMPS ARE IN NOVEMBER...
YAY!
Ok, lack of inspiration...
OH YES!
End-Of-Year Exams are coming in 3 days!!!
*SCREAM!* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
So now that that's out of my system.
Oh, and my mum bought me a digital camera. For no reason. Yogi just suggested it's for children's day. Makes sense, 'cept the last time I celebrated Children's Day was 2 years ago.
*Sob*
Speaking of children, today's church topic was "children". Had to name cartoon characters from our childhood, one character each from A~Z. Despite Lianne's vehement claims of "WE'RE SINGAPOREAN! WE DON"T HAVE A CHILDHOOD!"...
Ok, now's time to do the survey that Yogi took from me that I think I took from Danial but I'm too lazy to check but I think he got it from Yan Jun who probably got it from one of her 19238192736817263876123123 bestiies worxxx.
