Me - "My ass they will. Any senior that pumps me without a valid excuse is going to be nuked."Hi people. I was away at C[hinese]O[rchestra] camp for all of 1 and a half days. Anyone missed me? Everyone right? Ahhh, I thought so.
Ok, CO camp was ALOT more enjoyable than I ever expected. Although it started out quite...bleh and boring...
Ice-breaker game was none other than Whacko. Basically, it allows us to get to know our group members' names. So let's see, in my group was our leader Ming Cong, asst. leader Daryl, then members Wai Hong, Ernest, Yu Jie, Clifton, Vincent and of course, the ever affable me. Stop puking.
Oh yeah, I have a completely different impression of someone in my group now. Once thought he was a nice guy, now I've found out how completely irresponsible he is. If he ever reads this blog, oh well.
Went on a completely pointless "location hunt" around East Coast after that. It's like treasure hunt, but more pointless. In short, it was a waste of 3 hours and my poor feet still hurt. No, no wait, that's because I just came back from Aikido where I almost smashed my foot into pieces...
Da Zu prac for Shen Hua, then...um...Jeez...Oh yar, we had the sports activity things. Convinced Vincent to forget about his asthma-ma-bob and just have a friendly game of Basketball with our group members. Just as a note, we thrashed the opposition. Kinda easy when you're the tallest, the 2nd tallest being a good 5 ~ 7 cm shorter than you. Tried out the swing too, kinda unsteady.
TerrorizedGot to know the Sec 1s better through
terrorismtalking with them.
TalentTime briefing after that. I'll go into detail about TalentTime later...
Anyways, free time for bathing, working on TT, dinner, then STATION GAMES! Woo HOO! After being
thrashed in the East Coast game, we managed to come in 1st for most of the station games, and we only had 7 people. I'd have to say the most fun game was the passing-of-chairs, the most tiring behind the guide-thy-senior-through-the-obstacle-course-o'-doom game. Yeah. Only tiring because I had to speak in this really high-pitched voice so that Clifton could differentiate my voice from Yu Jie's and Wai Hong's. Strained my throat because of that, woke up with a sore throat today as a result.
Lights out at 11. Pfft. We played until 11.30, then went to watch the movie "The Core" in Seminar Room 1 after trying in vain to sleep, watched Vincent and John ( who draws bloody brilliantly) eat cup noodles
with burning jealousy, then tried to sleep again. Couldn't, mainly because Amos and whoever was playing cards with him were making hella lot of noise. It was Madi Gras there.
Finally slept at 2. A fitful slumber, with at least 3 nightmares, not that I remember much. I can only remember 1 being that of a place engulfed in flames, a common dream. And then I woke up once, and saw this white colour thing on the chair. And because John told me that there was a rumour that in VS, in the night, you can see a white colour figure sitting on the chair (you know, the
school spirit ), I got seriously
freaked out. Then I realized it was a plastic bag....-.- Stupid yes I know, but I believe in ghosts and all that supernatural stuff.
Woke up at 6 for P.T. Which we all know stands for Physical
Torture Training. Met Adeeb and Hasif and Bobo-Boy at the foyer ( remember peeps, it's pronoucned Foy-Yay, in a really gay tone ) then went on to do warm-ups. Ran 2 rounds around the school, finished in 3rd place. Wow wee. A lot of people were surprised. I think a lot of people would be surprised if they knew how ...atheletic ( is that the right word) I can be if I want to. Which is quite often, just that I don't bother to. Not that there is a point, because those "pro" people like dustin would just show up and proceed to show off their SkiiLLZ! I hate them by the way and I know that you know that we both know that we all know why.
Crappy breakfast, felt like throwing up again. Music Practice for the rest of the day till 5 when we had the water bomb fight. Originally didn't plan on joining in, but decided to anyway. Managed to avoid getting wet, until Jason noticed.
"Eh, why are you so dry ah..."
"Um...Er..."
[Quite a few people look at me, including Hin Kai who is holding the hose. Jason walks towards me.]
"Sick?"
"No. Oh wait..."
[Jason throws a water bomb, misses, but hits with the 2nd one. I get bombarded by 3 other water bombs, then Hin Kai blasts us all with the hose]
"Damn. REVENGE!"
That's where I basically go apenuts, running for water bombs, drenching the seniors, calling for revolts against the commitee. Remembered that my parents were coming to pick me up, so went to get my handphone ( 2 missed calls, 1 message =3 ) then bade them all goodbye. Was actually quite sad to leave actually, when I thought of the nightwalk. I'm not missing next year's nightwalk for the world.
Oh yes about TalentTime. The theme, after much retarded discussion, was determined to be X-Men4. Of course, being the only drama student in CO, not to mention: with Ren An and Daryl pointing out that I acted in PDPC ( Since they watched ), I was eventually forced to write the script. Oh yeah, Ren An was like "Show me that angry face of yours." I don't really remember having an angry face during the play. I was more...
Emo...Like saddened, moody, but I don't remember actually bringing out an angry side. Anyways, the script was crap. Ming Cong's script was crap. If they really wanted me to write a script about sex and violence, I would have happily done it. Instead, I was told that there could be no vulgarities and only limited sexual tension. So the script was crap. Then Ming Cong took over and wrote a crappy shallow script. My group is screwed for TalentTime. And it's totally not
that person's fault. No, I'm not talking about Ming Cong. I'm talking about the guy spiritually strong enough to stand up for what he believes in and not caving in to peer pressure.
THAT'S strong.
Because I was operating on 4 hours of sleep, Aikido was crap. Shihou-Waza was crap crap crap because I COMPLETELY blanked out when it was my turn, not to mention I nearly destroyed my own foot and almost smashed my ribs. My foot seriously hurts now, not to mention my shoulder, my arms, and my legs. Yes, practically everywhere. I don't know if I can make it for Shane's project tomorrow. Don't wanna disappoint him, but I don't think I'm in any condition to go...
Grading's next week! BLESS ME!
Oh yeah, I'm totally going for Ichthus this Saturday. People who wanna go (It's a church event for bonding and getting to know each other and other people, really quite fun ), please tag my board. Yi Wen / Titus, this especially applies to you and to all other VSBB boys.
